Graph Theory, an easy introduction

In MCe, our REST (RestQL) and GraphQL APIs make heavy use of Graph theory to give the optimum experience and flexibility.

So what exactly is Graph theory?

Graph theory is like a big puzzle that helps us understand how things are connected. Imagine you have a bunch of circles (which are called "nodes") and lines connecting them (which are called "edges"). These circles can be anything, like your friends, your favorite books, or even different kinds of animals. The lines show the relationships between them, like who is friends with whom, which books you read together, or which animals live in the same place.

Now, when it comes to computer stuff like APIs, graph theory helps us organize and understand data better.

APIs are like a secret language that computers use to talk to each other and share information.

By using graph theory, we can make it easier for computers to find and share the right information, just like you can find the best way to connect with your friends.

So, graph theory is a fun and useful way to learn about connections and relationships between different things, even in the world of computers!
