Turn off connectivity to the internet

Why does this work?

When you have connectivity turned on, we go to the internet for several things, the most common or significant are:

• To sync the changes you made to the server
• To sync changes others made to your device, from the server
• If you have concurrent licenses, we talk to the server periodically to extend your license(s)

When we do anything, it obviously uses a bit of battery power. In general (though not always) the two most significant uses of battery power are:

• The screen, illuminating it, making changes on it, takes the most power.
• Communicating on the internet takes the next most.

Turn your screen off sooner

Now, while we have no real ability to control how long your screen is on (though you can), in most cases turning off your screen sooner will save even battery life.
