Signatures Subtab

The signatures subtab shows all the signatures that are associated with this work order at a base level.

There are many good reasons to include signatures on a work order, for most of these you would want an appropriate comment:

  • A customer signs off that the job can be started
  • A customer signs off that the job has been completed
  • A technician signs off that the job has been completed

The name of the signature is a compressed version of your comments (illegal characters removed) followed by the date and time.

If the signature has not been sync'd we show it at a large size.

After an signature has been sync'd we display it at a 'thumbnail' size. Because signatures are stored as a signature (a set of lines and strokes) on the right hand side of the image list, for each image, there is a button that will show you the full sized image.

Important notes:

  • tasks can also have signatures as well, those signatures show up in the tasks, not in this view.

Differences from Accruent MC

  • Accruent MC does not have signatures, so we store a COPY of the signature as an image so you can see the image of the signature in MRO. To access the actual signature for legal purposes you could write a custom report or our support department can help you get what you need to provide your lawyer/the court under our regular hourly-support bases.
  • The WO technician is not permitted to change the date the signature was taken.
