So why doesn't MCe have a WO Rapid Entry when Accruent does?
Because ours are ALWAYS rapid entry!
The stored procedure that Accruent runs every time they create a WO takes a very long time in computer terms to run, several seconds to a minute, and in some cases even more than a minute (lots of tasks etc..,)
Because Accruent's software (MRO, Express, Kintetics) can't continue until you have 'saved' a WO - they have to wait for their very long process to run.
Their WO Rapid entry lets you enter a whole bunch of work orders, and then, while you do something else, Accruent slowly builds them all so they are there later when you need them.
This is very restrictive, because they limit what you can enter in the 'Rapid' part, and then you have to come back later, after they are created, and make any remaining changes that you weren't allowed to during the 'Rapid' create.
With our software, there is none of that waiting, you can create the entire Work Order without any need to wait, so our base product is their Rapid Work Order on (legal of course) steroids.
