A very rare problem: the time shown is wrong
In the upper right hand corner, we show the time. In the screen shot above it is 12:43
it is the current time your browser informs us that it is. In the image below, it is 12:34. For the few countries that use a 12 hour clock, we don't specify AM/PM because that will usually be obvious to you when you are using the device. If the browser reports it is 14 hundred hours 35, the time will display as 14:35, but in the countries that use a 12 hour clock, when the browser reports it is 35 past 2'oclock, we will display the time as 2:35.
If your device is showing hours greater than 12, such as 14:35, and you prefer the 12 hour clock, check your browser or device settings.
If the time is wrong, check your phone settings,
- you may have specified the wrong time zone you are in,
- You may have daylight savings time switching turned off when you are in an area that does switch to daylight savings time. (Most places in the US and Canada, this DST rules are followed)
- you may have daylight savings time switching turned on when you are in an area that doesn't support daylight savings time. (In US and Canada a few places, mostly smaller areas, do not do the double yearly dance of changing the time. Saskatchewan is the largest area that doesn't do the dance.)
- You may be close to a time zone border. Many phones automatically get the current time from a cell tower and update your phone. If you are close to a time zone border and there is currently a difference1 in times between the two zones, you may sometimes be connecting to a cell tower in one time zone and sometimes connecting to a cell tower in a different time zone. When the phone time change, it notifies us that the time is different and we display the 'new' time.
- And, if your device requires that you manually set the time, you might simply have the wrong time set on your device.
In all cases, we get the time from the browser, so if the browser has the wrong time, so will we. And usually the browser gets the time from your device/operating system, so if the device time is wrong so will the browser time.

1: If you are near a state or province that doesn't support daylight savings time and your state or province does, or the reverse, then about half the year you are likely at the same time, the other half, usually an hour off. ↩
