Our menu is very flexible, you have many changes you can easily make to it to optimize for your needs. It starts by being generally optimized for three window sizes. These can be thought of as:
- Cell phone
- Tablet
- Full HD and larger, such as 4K It has some optimizations in between as well. It has some optimizations for mouse, touch (swipe) and keyboard
It has the ability for you to further optimize for your company, different user groups, or even individual users, and/or by repair center.
It exists in 2 forms, one for people not logged in (yet), obviously this one will not have any user specific optimizations, and it has the fewest features; the other for people logged in where the choices visible depend on what licenses the user has access to, which depends on what licenses you have bought and then made available to specific user.
Individual users can pin items to the menu, such as assets they use all the time. You can have specific queries preloaded, for example a senior admin might want easy access to current WOs that need to be approved at their level.
The layout is three sections:
- The left (or top in a cell phone) has the most commonly used modules in a logical order. We will tell you the logical order, but if your specific case could use a tweaking- you can remove or move them to meet what you think is a more logical or more useful for specific users.
- The middle has the lesser, but still important modules, of which there are a lot for administrators. Any that are available for your license can be removed or moved to optimize the menu for your use.
- The right has what can best be called 'miscellaneous' functions.
It is fully customizable.
What if you have users that use one or more items from the second section all the time and wish it was in the first section? You move it.
What if you want to combine all the add buttons together, perhaps on the third panel? You move them.
What if different users have different needs - then you make the customizations at the user or, when possible, access group level.
What if one access group uses zones and another doesn’t? Then you remove (or move to a less conspicuous place like the bottom right) the zone module button.
What if ….? Take advantage of the significant customizability to get the setup that works best for you. Our professional services will be happy to set it up for you as well, they understand it well, can discuss your needs and implement what will work best for you and your team.
