This version does not have licensing it in, instead it has time expiration only.

2.x 2023 and 1.x 2017

These releases were not available except under custom charges. While they included 90% of the feature is 3.1 they were missing some features and had others implemented in a way that made them not appropriate for general release. You can safely upgrade to 3.1 and experience all the benefits of a general release product.
