Error message: Maintenance Connection Everywhere Connection to Device Device is Ready

This error occurred when the users updated their iOS app store MCe Maintenance Connection app in February 2026.

Remember that we have a web version that works on the same device, so you don't have to be 'stuck'.

Apple Requirements:

Is the server side version of MCe too old? Apple from time to time changes rules and older versions obviously don't match the newer rules. We typically keep compatibility as far back as we can - our Palm Pilot product was maintained more than 10 years after the last physical Palm Pilot was sold by any company - maintained until our last customer stopped using it.

  • But Apple requires that new releases conform to the new rules relatively quickly. Fortunately, MCe upgrades are almost always quick, easy and reliable, and when they aren't we are quick to turn-a-round a fix.
